Health Warning Please Read

: " Get moving! A sedentary lifestyle is a risk factor for some chronic diseases. Read a book while riding a stationary bike etc. in between sessions, walk your dog, plan exercise dates w/ a buddy.  Take stairs instead of the elevator. Rake some leaves/or do gardening--Planning Your Health Take better care of your health. You deserve it!  Plan now to eat right, exercise more diligently & give up habits that risk your health (smoking drinking etc.). 

 

Rrisk factors eg. obesity, family history, physical inactivity, impaired glucose intolerance & yes old age as a risk factors for adult-onset diabetes.(7th leading cause of death in the U.S.) Did you know that Feb. was heart healthy month?

 

Calories burned w/ physical exercise. e.g. tread mill: 650 calories/burned per hr. Can create a table for Healthy range of body fat for Males & females & ages.

 

 Too much body fat puts you at risk for heart disease and stroke, adult-onset diabetes, cancer, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, gout & gallbladder disease. Taking preventive measures can help reduces your risk of these chronic diseases. According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, you can lower your risk w/ a healthy lifestyle, etc. etc. Also consider early detection screening for cancer, diabetes, etc. etc. as foot note.
